When I came home from our weekend in Katy two big boxes were in the foyer. I was so excited to see the Kirabo Seeds T shirts! It has taken me a while to design this project. I approached it with such perfectionism that it prevented me from moving forward and doing it. I wanted them to be just right.
I love our logo for Kirabo Seeds because it is full of symbolic meaning. Kirabo is our daughter’s first name and we chop it short to call her Kira. In Lugandan it means “gift”. She is a gift from God to our family. There isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t catch my breath watching her and become overwhelmed with the amazing truth that she was given to us. So her legacy is the seeds of God’s grace and love that we can spread to other orphaned children in Uganda. The tree is a mighty force that grows from one seed, and in our logo it grows out of the gift of the cross, the ultimate gift of the savior to mankind. In the tshirt I really wanted the cross to jump out, and when I held it up I gasped…they are perfect.
I need these tshirts to sell people! I’ve got a staff to pay in Uganda who love and care for our children there. The funds raised from these tshirts will help us keep the children covered in love. I don’t have a sophisticated order form online, but don’t let that stop you. I hope you will purchase a tshirt and help us help the children in Uganda who have found love, God, and family in our Kirabo Seeds home.
The tshirts are $20 plus tax and shipping.
