It’s fun for me to post these photos of the children in Uganda who live in the orphanage we support, because I know the smiles on their faces ripple out farther than we’ll ever know and cause others to catch the smiles and make some for themselves when they weren’t expecting it. Their simple life seems to increase their joy. It makes me ache for a little simplicity.
What I enjoy the most about working for these children is to see how God sends so many people all over this globe the ability to love them, pray for them, and find ways to help make their lives better. They may not all have parents, but they do have a mighty God who provides through others with his contagious love. People have taken up the cause to love these children and that’s evidence that God is at work. That makes me smile, and in a ways keeps my life simple. God has it all planned out for these children. It is fun for me to receive the surprises and help organize the distribution of blessings to the children. The truth is, anyone can get involved in making these kid’s have a brighter future full of hope.
