Have I mentioned Whitney has many talents? Not only can she mix up a delicious salad, wire up a fancy website, manage accounts, but she can also draw. We had talked at length about having a logo and not sure where we could go to get help with this. Both of us had the same idea and the more we talked the more we realized we could do it ourselves. She spent her free time sketching, and then she would bring it for me to see, we would talk about it and tweak the design until finally we looked at it and said, it’s just right. I lounged with Craig the other night coloring it in with artist’s pencils and so here is the first edition of what we feel represents who we are. I’d love to know what you think! If you are new to this site, I’ll catch you up. “Kirabo” means gift in the Lugandan language. Our adopted daughter is from Uganda, and we named her Kirabo, though we most often call her Kira. She really is a gift to us from God first, and Uganda second. We have begun a nonprofit to help orphans and widows in Uganda so we are in effect speading the gift seeds to those with great need so they can grow and realize their potential.
