A new Chapter

  1. My heart aches that you’re leaving. I assume you’ll be moving to Big “D”, which I love! We lived there for 5 years, and there are some fabulous churches there.

You and your family have blessed us in so many ways, and we know God will use all of you to further His kingdom wherever you are planted. I think that’s why He gave you such a green thumb. A symbolism of your family’s fruitfulness!

  3. Another move! I will be praying for you and your family during this time of transition. I know that the Lord will provide for your every need and will continue to shine His light through you wherever you go. This will give you many more opportunities to share about the precious children in Uganda and of the need that is so great. For a moment there I thought maybe Craig had retired and you would be going full time in the ministry!
    In His Love,
    Allison

  4. Wow…I keep being blown away by the way God uses your words to echo and mirror what goes on in my life! My husband just started a new job but for him it was after 17 years in the same company. And now he is in another “Texas” town and we are starting an new chapter (but struggling with the moving part). And yesterday when you spoke of Donny and the freshman in college, I could only think of my daughter in college too and the way God is working in her heart. And of course, all that you are doing with the Uganda orphanage, and the “more” that I would like to do to help! Thank you so much for sharing your gift of writing and touching us with your words!

  5. Well, I for one will appreciate those transitional insights as we ourselves prepare for our first one-year furlough back to the States. I’m in the “trying to avoid” stage but with the clock ticking, I know I must roll up my proverbial sleeves soon as well. I am happy that you will still be in Texas, though, and thus we will surely see you all when we visit my in-laws next year! 🙂 For the record, my husband wishes me to recommend to you James Michener’s book TEXAS in your quest to become ever more Texan. After living there for a year we both appreciated reading the history of such a unique state. Blessings to you in these busy days, friends!
