We had our court ruling this morning, and now we are finished with the Ugandan judicial system. She will get her Ugandan passport in the next few days, and then we will wait for our appointment at the Embassy to get our visa. I am celebrating. We bought a cake to share with everyone tonight. But in my heart the real celebration will be in my heart when we walk into our home in America and begin living out our inseparable future. Rejoice with us! We praise God for his favor upon us.

Last night I went to bed telling Pedro, in the morning I have to check Tonya’s blog for pictures of Kira! But we had kids to get off to school and an early-morning meeting to attend, so here it is midday and I am finally seeing what I have been longing to see! Kira with her family around here. She is beautiful! So excited that the entire family will be together for Christmas! 🙂

I knew when I saw Kira’s pictures that the court had given you and Craig your daughter and the boys their sister! How great is all that! What a beautiful baby and the best Christmas present for you all! Congratulations and i’ve never ever seen you and Craig so happy with your new daughter. I’m so excited as this now makes my 16th great grandchild, I am one very happy and grateful great grandma. One day soon I will be able to hold and hug Kira too. I’ve always said that God’s generosity can never be outdone and I’ll stay with my saying forever.
